Jeffrey C. Hager DO, FACOS Jeffrey C. Hager DO, FACOS received his undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College and completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Hager completed his surgical residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and his vascular surgery fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. Dr. Hager is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Hager directed the vascular surgical fellowship training program at Deborah Heart and Lung Center for over ten years. Dr. Hager is the medical director for the Vanguard Vascular and Vein Center, the Wound Care Center at SOCH, and the New York Hyperbaric program in Manahawkin. Dr. Hager is a Trustee for the Meridian Health Care System as well as President of the non profit Care to be Aware Foundation. Dr. Hager is board certified in General Surgery and in Vascular Surgery.

Carey L. Penrod DO Carey L. Penrod DO received his undergraduate degree from Utah State University and completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Penrod completed his surgical training St. Josephs Hospital /Catholic Medical Center and at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Penrod completed his vascular surgery fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. Dr. Penrod is board certified in General Surgery and in Vascular Surgery.

  Liesl Townsend BS, MBA received her undergraduate degree at Philadelphia University and completed her Masters in Business Administration at Philadelphia University. Ms. Townsend is the practice coordinator for Vanguard Vascular and Vein Center. Ms. Townsend will guide you through your insurance approval process. Ms. Townsend has worked for Vanguard since 1993.
